What to bring to Recife?
Here are some tips for a good local experience:
Recife is warm all year round, but indoors you might need a cardigan because all conference rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Outdoors, prefer light casual clothing, flip flops and comfortable shoes, shorts and swimming suits.
July is a rainy month in Recife, so you might want to bring a light raincoat or get an umbrella. On the other hand, if the sun comes out, we strongly advise wearing sunscreen.
Beware that it is not advised to swim in Boa Viagem beach due to the possibility of shark attacks.
It is also a good idea to bring mosquito repellent.
Uber and taxi are the best transport options.
Credit / debit cards are widely accepted .
